Respected friends!

NoFap is a bloody war, but when you succeed in it, freedom becomes your destiny. Yes, freedom from porn addiction, social anxiety, depression, and liberation from twentieth-century mental, physical, and spiritual illnesses. This nofap recovery guide will help you to left this addiction.

Stages of Nofap Journey According to NoFap Recovery Guide

Every stage of NoFap shows you the ugly face of addiction from a new angle. It tells you how much you were afflicted by the poisonous addictions of porn and masturbation, which had enslaved you.
First Stage of Nofap
When it’s your first day of NoFap, there is extreme excitement and enthusiasm. You are ready with fervor, strength, and a positive attitude to move forward with NoFap. However, you realize in the first stage (first eight to ten days) that mere enthusiasm for NoFap is not enough. Most people who do not receive proper guidance about NoFap relapse in the first stage because their minds are not mentally prepared to resist urges. In the first stage, urges hit you like waves crashing against a shore. However, if you understand essential things about NoFap in the first stage, you can pass through it successfully. We discussed the first stage in episodes six and seven. Today, let’s talk about the second stage.

Second Stage
Brain Fog Stage
Duration: Four to Five Days (5+-)

This is the strangest stage of NoFap. It comes after a week of starting NoFap and lasts only for four to five days.

Symptoms
Predicting the symptoms of this stage accurately is difficult because anything can happen. It’s called the Brain Fog stage because many rebooters feel that they can’t remember everyday things. Some rebooters say that their brain is preparing to enter recovery mode (flatline), which is the next stage. In the second stage, social anxiety can also attack you. Since these things are new to a rebooter, they can feel uncomfortable with them.

Benefits
Along with these symptoms, there are benefits of the second stage too. Rebooters feel that their shame and regret, caused by watching porn, are slowly disappearing. A particular type of mental satisfaction starts to develop.

Therefore, most rebooters think that they have recovered. But that’s not the reality because real recovery happens after passing through the flatline stage.

GETTING CONTROL
Gain Control in the Second Stage
• Try to keep your senses awake in this stage. Work with understanding.
• Focus on daily tasks. If focusing becomes difficult, take rest.
• Remember, in this stage, you’ll need to use more mental strength to focus; otherwise, thoughts will wander.
• Avoid cooking up imaginary scenarios. Especially avoid negative or PMO-related thoughts. If you think about PMO, the chances of relapse increase.
• Rest more than necessary so that your mind can move towards the recovery mode as soon as possible.
• Avoid overworking. Overworking often leads to mental stress, and because of the habit of releasing stress through PMO, you might relapse. Keep busy, but don’t let stress get close to you.

Friends! Remember, these stages are just labels, there is no need to be scared or worried. You just have to stay away from porn and masturbation, and freedom will kiss your feet. Through these stages, we only inform you about the difficulties you might face during this time.

In the next episode, Insha’Allah, we’ll talk about the flatline in detail.
